Casablanca–Meknes/Fez–Chefchouen… location specific copy (SELL THE BUY-IN)
Come spend nine-days with us in the bustling international cities of Casablanca, where meeting the Imam of the iconic Hassan II Mosque is a distinct possibility. Marvel at the Casablanca Cathedral, visit the Casablanca Port and buy the fresh catch of the day and have a local vendor prepare it for you. Perhaps the King’s Palace or Mohammed V Square with their ornate artisan craftmanship suits your fancy. Experience the medina, Old Casablanca or some street performers along the shoreline at The Corniche.
Departing from Casablanca, we head north to the cities of Fez/Meknes, and Volubilus, where you’ll walk amongst ancient Roman ruins. We’ll explore Fez, the oldest ( 789 AD) major city in Morocco and home to the Chouara Tannery, which dates back to the 11th century. Moreover, Fez boasts some amazing and ancient architecture including a myriad of mosques, minarets, madrasas, bridges and the Marinid tombs.
From Fez, we’ll venture further north and into the Rif Mountains, to arrive at the “Blue Pearl,” Chefchouen -MORE-
